Nasal Breathing

Breathing through our nose is probably the MOST important thing for your health. It helps filter toxins from entering your body, it creates moisture before the air enters your lungs and it regulates your nervous system. Bottom line…If you have trouble or simply cannot breathe through your nose…you have some body issues that need to be addressed (this also includes snoring). These issues are affecting how you move, breathe, detoxify, manage stress, regulate pain and much more!

For daily use I would recommend a couple things: using Sinupulse several mornings a week, I have found it helpful in assisting with the effectiveness of nasal breathing and congestion relief. For some daily cleaning and congestion relief that is quick and easy I have also use Xlear Nasal Spray

At night I use Myotape to ensure that I am not breathing through my mouth. Myotape is a nice option for those of you that are resistant to mouth taping at night. It goes around your mouth not over your mouth, and the simple resistance of the tape does not let your mouth fall open. I use the children’s size, as does my husband and son. The teen and adult size is simply not enough resistance to keep the mouth shut.
