Hello! I’m
Paige McNerthney,
Physical Therapist and owner of AlignMend Physical Therapy in the heart of Ballard.

Paige McNerthney, MPT, PRC, CSCS, PCES, CKTP realized she had a gift of helping people understand their own body and knew she wanted to become a healthcare provider. She obtained her master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in 2002 and received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology/Sports Medicine at the University of Kansas in 1997.
Paige has been utilizing a hands-on approach to help her clients heal since 2002. She has worked in a variety of settings around the Seattle area for over 20 years.
In 2019 she started AlignMend Physical Therapy allowing her to integrate physical therapy in a holistic manner to help heal the body at the root of its problem. Specializing in overall wellness, she has dedicated her time to helping clients restore balance in all bodily systems including musculoskeletal system, central nervous system, autonomic nervous system, and other sensory systems like vestibular, vision, gut motility, and pelvic health.
Paige became a Postural Restoration Certified Practitioner 2020, where she was formally trained through the Postural Restoration Institute. This technique helps you re-pattern your nervous system and address pain globally to get down to the root cause of the issue. Many bodily systems are vital and often overlooked when it comes to normal rehab and the important role these systems play in the body’s physical and mental recovery. A multi-system approach to movement helps provide pain-free movement, coordination, neuro-mechanics, and performance. While this may sound complicated, when it comes to a multi-system management approach and the recovery can be relatively simple and extremely effective. Paige is excited to offer this approach in my practice.
Paige furthered her specialty as a Post-Partum and Pre-Pregnancy Exercise Specialist in 2021, a licensed program founded through Core Exercise Solutions. This approach allows Paige to continue to address the root cause of the issues her clients struggle with but also address any pelvic health concerns as well. Paige loves working a holistic approach, as she has struggled and recovered from her own orthopedic chronic pain issues and pelvic health pain.
Upon discharge, Paige’s clients leave with the knowledge and education to continue their functional progress and recovery. If traditional PT just has not done the trick. I dive in with a multi-system approach to finally get them the results they are looking for.
Paige’s visits are one-on-one for 60, 90 or 120 minutes depending on your needs. Paige will provide you with a holistic and customized plan to improve your overall wellness.
